Forecasters have cancelled a flash flood warning for west central Kane County and east central Washington County.
The National Weather Service had reported that flash floods could threaten Zion National Park on Sunday afternoon after heavy rains fell in several waterways in the park. However, the showers let up shortly after the warning was issued and water levels did not rise significantly, forecasters said.
The weather service also cancelled a "significant weather advisory" for central San Juan County.
The advisory warned of hail up to a half-inch in diameter and wind gusts up to 50 mph along with heavy rain and frequent, dangerous lightning, the advisory said.
