Robinzon Diaz hasn't had many opportunities in clutch situations this season, but he came through Friday night.

Diaz launched a tiebreaking home run with two out in the eighth inning, lifting Salt Lake to a come-from-behind 6-5 win over New Orleans at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

Two batters after Luis Jimenez tied the game with a two-run homer, Diaz ripped his fourth home run of the year, giving the Bees their fifth win in the last six games.

"I didn't really try to hit a home run," Diaz said. "I just tried to hit the ball hard and get on base so we have an opportunity to score one more run."

Diaz has played in only 45 of the Bees' first 114 games. He went 3 for 4 against the Zephyrs, giving him 154 at-bats all season.

"Right now we [are] in a situation where a couple of other guys play," Diaz said. "That's why I don't have a little more opportunity. But, when I get a chance, I try to do the best I can."

Through seven innings, the Bees pounded out 11 hits, including four for extra bases. But they stranded five runners, including four in scoring position.

Salt Lake trailed 5-3 before rallying.

Conger led off the eighth with a double before Jimenez launched a line-drive home run. After Efren Navarro flied out and Cory Aldridge fanned, Diaz homered.

Asked about Diaz's performance, Bees manager Keith Johnson said, "He did a great job of putting together at-bats — not trying to do too much. He wasn't up there trying to jam eight at-bats into four, which happens sometimes when you aren't getting a lot of playing time."
