A man is accused of groping a 13-year-old girl, assaulting her mother and biting the penis of her older brother.

In charges filed Tuesday, police wrote that the girl said that on May 8, a family friend, Efrey Guzman, 46, knocked on the door of her house, near 4500 South and Gordon Lane (345 East). She said Guzman suddenly grabbed her, hugged her tightly, started kissing her on the mouth and grabbed her buttocks, police wrote.

The girl's older brother, who had been showering, walked into the room, and Guzman left, police wrote.

On Aug. 2, the girl spotted Guzman again, circling in his car, police wrote. She ran inside and told her mother Guzman was outside; the mother locked herself in a bedroom and "called for help," police wrote.

The mother said Guzman knocked on the door of the house and asked to speak with the 13-year-old girl, police wrote. When the mother said no, Guzman pushed his way into the house and attacked the mother, ripping off her shirt and grabbing her breast, police wrote.

The brother, whose age was not given, heard his mother call for help, investigators wrote. He went to the front room and tried to pull Guzman off his mother. Guzman grabbed the boy's penis from his boxer shorts and "bit his penis, causing severe damage that required surgery," police wrote.
