Nobody watches the Olympics the way Utahns watch the Olympics. At least nobody watches them as much as Utahns watch them.

As we reported last week, the Salt Lake television market led the nation in ratings and share for NBC's coverage of the London Games. The average dropped a bit when the last five days of the event were added in, but lead over No. 2 Kansas City widened to 2.5 ratings point.

And 2012 marked the seventh-straight Olympics - both Summer and Winter - in which Utahns led the pack.

Here are the top 10 markets in primetime Olympics viewing for the full 17 days of the London Games. (A rating point represents 1 percent of the homes in a market; 1 share point equals 1 percent of the homes where someone is actually watching TV at any given time.)

1. Salt Lake City - 25.0/45

2. Kansas City - 22.5/37

3. Milwaukee - 22.3/37

4. Denver - 22.1/42

5. Columbus, Ohio - 21.9/36

6. Norfolk, Va. - 21.2/33

7. Indianapolis - 20.9/36

8. (tie)San Diego - 20.8/37

8. (tie) West Palm Beach, Fla. - 20.8/34

10. Richmond, Va. - 20.6/33
