A one-vehicle crash briefly closed down all westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near the 700 East off-ramp late Thursday morning.

Utah Highway Patrol Corporal Todd Johnson said the driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene of the 9:55 a.m. accident.

Johnson said the driver lost control of his car on the off-ramp and spun out before crashing into a barrier wall.

No citations were immediately issued as the investigation into the accident continued.

Traffic through the accident scene had resumed by shortly before 11 a.m.
