Dance: Launch of the Cultural Confidential series, RDT's open house, plus a Taylorsville talent show

SB Dance's Cultural Confidential

SB Dance's will host Cultural Confidential, a new series of panel discussions, which begins with a conversation about creativity in the information age.

RDT's Dance All Day

Repertory Dance Theatre offers an open house for its Community School dance classes. Participants can pay $10 for an entire day or classes, or attend for free with the purchase of a 10-class punch card.

Children's Auditions for 'The Nutcracker'

Young dancers are invited to pre-register for auditions for Ballet West's 2012 production of "The Nutcracker," which is required in order to audition for the production. Dancers must be 8 years of age and older and must range in height from 4 feet to 5-feet-8-inches. Gymnasts must range in height from 4 feet to 4-feet-4-inches.

Required preregistration • Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 4-5, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Taylorsville Art Council will sponsor the Taylorsville's Got Talent program.
