Utah State back-up quarterback Adam Kennedy hurt his arm while scrambling in the fourth quarter of USU's 34-3 win over Southern Utah on Thursday night.

He is being evaluated, Gary Andersen said, although the head coach said that it looks like Kennedy will make his return sooner rather than later.

Kennedy has been beaten out by Chuckie Keeton. But he still remains a vital cog in USU's plan. As last season showed, Keeton can go down at any point. And as Kennedy showed last season, he is capable of coming in and making a difference.
