A Tuesday afternoon fire destroyed a Morgan duplex home, but no injuries were reported.

A Morgan County sheriff's dispatcher confirmed that the 12:15 p.m. blaze at 5045 West Old Highway Road remained under investigation Tuesday afternoon and that the cause was unknown.

The fire was fought by volunteer firefighters from Morgan and Mountain Green, as well as a crew from neighboring Weber County.

Firefighting efforts were complicated by the presence of propane tanks on the site.
