Plans for tonight: You want some coffee?

• Videogame-inspired rock band The Protomen perform at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.

• The documentary "Hot Coffee," which examines the state of the civil justice system and how corporations have gamed the system to avoid facing lawsuits, screens at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. After the screening, KUER's Doug Fabrizio will interview director Susan Saladoff via Skype. Presented by the Utah Film Center. Admission is free.
