The Utah Transit Authority is offering extra TRAX trains and buses Saturday to the University of Utah for its football game against Brigham Young University.

Trains will arrive at the stadium station every 10 minutes between 6:17 p.m. and 8:17 p.m.

That includes Red Line trains operating on their normal Saturday schedule, plus special direct event trains from Sandy that will have "University" signs in the header — and are additional and different from regular Blue Line trains to downtown from Sandy.

After the game, TRAX trains will provide direct service from the stadium to the Daybreak Parkway and Sandy Civic Center stations. Trains will be identified with "Daybreak" or "Sandy" in the header.

Also, extra buses will operate between the Salt Lake Central and Stadium stations to help FrontRunner commuter rail riders. The Route 2 buses will follow the regular route to 1100 East, and then deviate to 400 South to serve the stadium. Extra buses will run for one hour following the game.
