Utah 4th District candidate Mia Love spent Sunday campaigning in a spot well outside of her district, traveling to Las Vegas for a series of appearances for the Mitt Romney campaign.

The Romney folks had invited Love to make three appearances at Romney Victory Centers in the city, where volunteers gather to make phone calls to drum up support for Romney in the battleground state.

At each stop, Love gave a short speech supporting Romney and posed for photographs with some of the campaign's top volunteers.

"People were really, really excited to see her," said Ivan DuBois, who is advising the Love campaign and traveled to Las Vegas with the candidate.

The timing worked out so Love wasn't pulled off of her own campaign — politics takes a break on Sunday in Utah — and she was back in Utah by Sunday evening.
