On Saturday of LDS General Conference weekend, the closest — and most crowded — place to eat in downtown Salt Lake City will be City Creek Center's food court. But Sunday will be a different story.

Most of the mall, including the food court, will be closed, so hungry visitors will have to walk a few blocks for sustenance. Here's what will be open Sunday:

Lunch and dinner

Ahh Sushi » This Japanese restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. on Sundays, serving tempura, teriyaki meats and hamburgers. Sushi service doesn't start until 5 p.m. 22 E. 100 South; 801-359-6770.

Bayleaf Bar and Grub » The comfort-food menu comes from disparate parts of the world. It unashamedly offers bulgogi rice bowls alongside cheesy grits. Plus, most of the dishes ring in under $10. Open at 11 a.m. on Sundays. 159 S. Main St.; 801-359-8490.

Caffé Molise » This downtown veteran is a favorite place for pastas and other Italian fare. Open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. 55 W. 100 South; 801-364-8833.

Cheesecake Factory • While the rest of the mall is closed Sunday, this restaurant has separate ownership and will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Expect big crowds. No reservations accepted. 65 Regent St.; 801-521-1732.

Copper Canyon Grill House • Located inside the Radisson Hotel, the grill serves soups, salads, sandwiches and hamburgers. Open Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and for dinner 5 to 10 p.m. 215 W. South Temple; 801-531-7500.

Olive Garden • You can't beat the soup, salad and breadsticks for a quick and filling meal. 77 West 200 South; 801-537-6202
