Plans for tonight: SafetySuit says 'Hallelujah'

• Pop-rock band SafetySuit performs at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Go Radio, Taylor Berrett (acoustic set), The Better Life Band. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $23, at Smith's Tix outlets.

• The Utah Film Center launches its "Cinema Quebecois" series with the French-Canadian comedy "Starbuck," at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Screening starts at 7. Free.

• Stevie Stone headlines a hip-hop lineup at Metro Bar, 540 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Also on the bill: Team Stone, DJ P-Caso and Frizz, Campo. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.

• LA rock band Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Dam Funk, Bodyguard. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.
