At least three vehicles collided as the Wednesday morning commute got under way, stalling northbound traffic on a Utah County stretch of Interstate 15 for miles.

The accidents occurred close to where the freeway enters the Point of the Mountain area, along the Utah and Salt Lake County border. Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said no serious injuries were reported.

However, with wreckage clogging the middle lanes of I-15, traffic was backed up from the Point south to Lehi and Thanksgiving Point. Emergency crews had cleared most of the debris by 8 a.m. and traffic flow through the area gradually returned to a normal rush-hour flow.
