Letter: Hughes is part of the homelessness problem

I read your July 12 editorial regarding Greg Hughes and the homeless issue. In my opinion, Speaker Hughes is a major contributor to the problem because of his opposition to Medicaid expansion. Expanding Medicaid in Utah would help so many who are homeless and would help prevent homelessness. Many people are desperate for health care, especially mental health and addiction services, I therefore disagree with the credit you give him. He is, rather, one of the causes.
