Troopers made five DUI arrests and 10 drug arrests at a weekend checkpoint on Interstate 80 near Wendover.

The Utah Highway Patrol stopped 550 cars at a checkpoint about 3 miles from the Utah-Nevada state line, said Sgt. Ted Tingey. Of the 10 drug arrests, seven were high-volume busts, netting about 50 pounds of marijuana, Tingey said.
