An online report published Tuesday says the Jazz are pursuing options to trade estranged shooting guard Raja Bell, which would bring an end to the embittered relationship between the two sides.

Agent Herb Rudoy reportedly told the website RealGM that the Jazz and Bell have moved beyond the possibility of a contract buyout and that the Jazz are now considering trade options.

Reached late Tuesday afternoon by The Salt Lake Tribune, Jazz General Manager Dennis Lindsey declined to comment.

Bell, 36, publicly criticized coach Tyrone Corbin at the end of last season, and he and the Jazz spent most of the summer negotiating a buyout before it fell through in August. The Jazz announced three days before media day that Bell would not attend training camp, but he remained on their roster.

Bell is in the final year of his contract with the Jazz, and is set to be paid $3.4 million this year. The Jazz currently have 15 players under contract, the league maximum, plus two training camp invitees.
