Attorneys have filed more charges against Frank Reyos, the day after charging him with shooting a Salt Lake City teen.

Reyos, 30, was charged Wednesday in 3rd District Court with a second-degree felony firearm charge, as well as failure to respond to an officer's signal to stop and aggravated assault, which are third-degree felonies. On Tuesday, he'd been charged with the aggravated murder of 16-year-old Kenyatta Winston.

On Sept. 11, a detective tried to stop a green Honda with a broken headlight, but the Honda took off, according to the charges. The next day, officers learned that Reyos had been seen driving the car.

Police found the car at a local motel, and shortly after, Reyos got behind the wheel and left. They followed him until he suddenly turned and fled, according to the charges.

Police tried to box him in, but Reyos rammed an officer's vehicle. He then drove off at speeds approaching 95 mph, the charges state. He ran two stop lights and almost lost control of the car at an intersection, the charges add.

Officers eventually stopped him and found a loaded .22 caliber handgun inside the car.
