Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing 80-year-old man.

Family last heard from Fritz Helland, of Millcreek, about 2:50 p.m. Thursday over the phone. They believe he may have taken his dog, a miniature Doberman Pinscher, for a walk. The dog is also missing, according to the Unified Police Department.

Helland is 5-foot-11, 165 pounds and has white hair and blue eyes. He was possibly wearing a brown or tan jacket.

If anyone has information about his location, they are asked to call UPD at 801-743-7000.
