The public is invited to two open houses Thursday on the planning and design of the $110 million Utah Performing Arts Center to be built between 100 South and 200 South on Salt Lake City's Main Street.

Attendees will get an update on how public input has been incorporated into the plan for the 2,500-seat Broadway-style theater. They also will get an opportunity to provide feedback on aspects of the plan.

The open houses run from 11:30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. upstairs at the Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main St.
