Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said he knew sophomore back Ka'Deem Carey had talent, he just didn't know if he had consistency. Suffice it to say Carey has eased any of his new coach's worries. Carey, who leads the Pac-12 averaging 138.1 yards a game, is coming off his best performance yet as he set a Pac-12 record by rushing for 366 yards against Colorado. He averaged 14.6 yards a carry. The 5-foot-10, 197-pound back has been a huge reason why Arizona's offense has improved, but not just because of what he does in games, Rodriguez said. "He really loves football," he said. "The way he runs, the way he prepares is infectious. Every game is like a holiday to him. I don't worry about getting him ready to play a game. He can't wait to get out there and the way he runs shows that." Utah's defense ranks third in the league, giving up just 110.6 yards a game, but allowed Washington back Bishop Sankey to rush for 162 yards on Saturday. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said Carey was 'like a nightmare,' the way he ran against Colorado."He is as good as anybody we've seen this year, maybe the best," Whittingham said. - Lya Wodraska
