Plans for tonight: Karrin Allyson brings her quartet

• The Utah Jazz plays host to the Houston Rockets in NBA action, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• California sun-rockers Radical Something performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Benefit of a Doubt, TBA. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.

• Jazz singer Karrin Allyson and her quartet perform in the JazzSLC series, at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $28, at ArtTix.

• Pianist John Nakamatsu and the Kuss String Quartet perform Schumann's Piano Quintet, at Libby Gardner Hall, 1340 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. The Kuss String Quartet will also perform works by Mozart and Janacek. Concert starts at 7:30. Tickets are $25, at the venue's box office.
