When The Cricket last checked in on Steven Greenstreet, the former Utah filmmaker was in New York City, photographing the action at Zuccotti Park and creating the buzzed-about website "Hot Chicks of Occupy Wall Street."

So what's Greenstreet been doing lately? Hanging out with a very famous hot chick — the party-girl pop singer Ke$ha — and shooting photos for her new memoir, "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life," hitting bookstore shelves today.

In a tweet posted today, Greenstreet boasted of shooting 200 photos for the book over the last two years. Greenstreet also shot and edited footage for the video of Ke$ha's song "Sleazy."

When he lived in Utah, Greenstreet directed the documentary "This Divided State" (about Michael Moore's controversial 2004 visit to what was then called Utah Valley State College), and produced and co-directed the documentary "8: The Mormon Proposition" (about LDS support for California's anti-gay-marriage ballot measure).

Ke$ha gives Greenstreet high praise in the book's acknowledgements. "For a while there, it seemed like Steven and his camera were physically attached to me," Ke$ha writes. "Even though I like to tease him, Steven'sone of the hardest-working creative people I know."
