Corbin discusses Millsap's minutes
After Paul Millsap watched the fourth quarter of two close games, Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin answered questions about his rotation. "It's just a feel [for] what's going on," he said. "Matchups on both ends of the floor. … And it changes from night to night. We always have a plan going into a game, but that can change during the course of a game."
Warriors worse than Spurs for NBA credibility
NBA commissioner David Stern sanctioned San Antonio after coach Gregg Popovich sent four starters home before Thursday's game at Miami. But where was Stern's outrage last season, when Golden State tanked games to stay in the draft lottery? The Warriors lost 18 of their last 20 and did far more to hurt the league's credibility than Popovich did.
Golden State misled fans about Bogut
Speaking of the Warriors, ex-Utah star Andrew Bogut will be sidelined indefinitely because of his bad ankle. He underwent what the team called "clean-out" surgery in April after being acquired in a trade. But Bogut actually had micro-fracture surgery. Management decided to mislead fans rather than face any angry backlash. Well done. Again.
