Sticking to pledge

My wife was right, again, when she said: "I don't really think Mitt Romney will make the best president, but he is the best choice because at least the Democrats will work with the Republicans. If Barack Obama is re-elected we'll have the same old do-nothing, obstructionist Congress."

This was verified by the story headlined "Utah's Republicans in Congress stick to no-tax pledge" (Tribune, Nov. 30).

Our longstanding representatives can't wait to say how they are sticking by their non-functioning guns. They certainly don't represent my point of view.
