The charges just keep mounting for accused rapist Morgan David Izatt.

Second District Court records show that Izatt, 18, of Sunset, was charged Wednesday with two new counts of second-degree felony sex abuse of a child. The alleged victim was a 13-year-old girl, prosecutors say.

Izatt already had been charged on Dec. 6 with first-degree felony rape and forcible sodomy, as well as class A misdemeanor assault. The alleged victim in that case was a female Fremont High School student.

According to a probable cause statement, the latest charges came after the 13-year-old told a family member about two occasions of genital fondling involving Izatt. The incidents, to which Izatt allegedly admitted in a jailhouse interview with a Weber County sheriff's detective earlier this week, occurred on April 4.

On Nov. 1, prosecutors say, Izatt allegedly forced the Fremont High student to perform oral sex and then raped her in Plain City. During the assaults, Izatt allegedly struck the victim in the chest and threatened her.

Prosecutors say he also confessed to those crimes.

A scheduling hearing for both cases is set for Dec. 18 before Judge Scott Hadley in Ogden.

Izatt remained behind bars Thursday in lieu of $61,000 bail.

Weber County sheriff's detectives urge any other alleged victims to contact them at 801-778-6266.
