The First

Nets 24, Jazz 20

Former Jazz guard Deron Williams scores seven points in the quarter. Paul Millsap scores six points to lead the Jazz, who shoot just 39 percent from the field.

The Second

Nets 57, Jazz 44

The Jazz take a 30-29 lead on a dunk by DeMarre Carrol, but an 18-4 run puts Brooklyn up 47-34. Point guard Jamaal Tinsley leads the Jazz in rebounds, with three.

The Third

Nets 74, Jazz 70

The Jazz outscore Brooklyn 26-17 in the period. The Nets commit half of their turnovers in the third.

The Fourth

Jazz 92, Nets 90

Mo Williams makes a 3-pointer in transition to put the Jazz up 82-80 with 5:42 remaining. Gerald Wallace and Reggie Evans miss shots that would have won the game or sent it to overtime.
