A friendly conversation that turns toward the topic of money can quickly become uncomfortable.

To help consumers navigate such pitfalls, Utah's Ally Bank has teamed with author and New York Times "ethicist" Randy Cohen on a six-week video series that addresses financial etiquette.

The first video is available on the bank's "Straight Talk" blog at http://community.ally.com/straight-talk. The series will run through the week of Jan. 21.
