Recognition for community service • The City Council plans, at a February meeting, to recognize all Eagle Scouts who did their final project for Taylorsville. Contact Lisa Schwartz at 801-955-2092 or lschwartz@taylorsvilleut.gov if you know of Scouts who worked with a city official on a service project within the community or for emergency preparedness.

West Valley City

Wild About Fiber Arts • A free reception to open an exhibit of the Mary Meigs Atwater Weavers Guild will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South. The event will include music and refreshments.
