A Murray man was arrested after he allegedly fired a shot toward his girlfriend after a fight Wednesday night.

The 52-year-old allegedly assaulted the woman before the shooting, which occurred while the woman was walking away from the initial confrontation outside the Hunters Woods Apartments, 4933 S. Murray Blvd. (485 West). No one was injured in the shooting, which occurred at about 8:40 p.m.

Sgt. Jake Huggard with the Murray Police Department said the man has been booked on suspicion of attempted homicide, domestic assault and illegal possession of a firearm.
