Two bullets struck the back window of a car in Salt Lake City on Saturday night, and police are still looking for whoever fired the shots.

According to Salt Lake City police, a car with two men and two women inside was driving along 1200 West in the area of 650 North when they heard several shots fired at the vehicle. Two bullets went through the rear window, but no one was injured, according to Detective Rick Wall. The shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m.

Police say the shots were reportedly fired from a charcoal grey Toyota Corolla or Camry.

Wall said the victims did not know why they may have been targeted and that the shooting appears random. Several shell casings were recovered from the street where the shooting occurred.
