This little tidbit has to be the mother of all ironies: Reportedly, five people were accidentally shot at three different gun shows on this year's inaugural Gun Appreciation Day.

Three people were shot at the Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Raleigh, N.C., when a gun accidentally discharged at the show's safety check-in booth.

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

It seems obvious that what these gun shows need to make them safer is … more guns.
