Ian Schultz scored two goals — both on the power play — as the Utah Grizzlies defeated the Stockton Thunder 4-2 in ECHL action Friday night in Stockton, Calif.

T.J. Battani put the Grizzlies ahead for the first time at 7:54 in the third period, 1:34 after Schultz scored his second goal to tie the game. Mitch Wahl scored an empty-netter with 57 seconds left in the game to seal the victory for Utah.

Andrew Engelage saved 31 shots in goal for the Grizz.

Utah plays at Stockton again Saturday night at 8:30 and Sunday at 5 p.m.
