The search for a missing Tremonton man continued Tuesday in the frigid, snowpacked terrain of rural Box Elder County.

The public safety dispatcher confirmed that Box Elder County Search and Rescue personnel had not found the 63-year-old man as of early Tuesday afternoon. They had begun their search Monday morning after he failed to return from a Sunday night excursion to feed cattle near the Malad River.

The sheriff's office did not release the name of the missing man, but deputies were concerned about his safety given the harsh winter conditions and unspecified medical conditions.

His truck, the keys still inside, was found but there was no trace of the missing man.
