Investigation of a weekend injury rollover crash on Interstate 15 has been turned over to the Utah Highway Patrol's Motor Vehicle Inspection Team to determine if mechanical failure contributed to the accident.

UHP Cpl. Todd Johnson said that the female driver of a white minivan sustained minor injuries in the Sunday 3:30 p.m. crash on northbound I-15 near the 14600 South off-ramp.

The minivan went through the intersection at the bottom of the ramp and rolled onto the on ramp.

No other vehicles were involved.

Investigators Monday were examining the minivan and the accident scene, Johnson said.
