Salt Lake City police are asking the public's aid in bringing a bank robber to justice.

Police say the suspect — a male in his 20s, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds with dark facial hair — walked into the Zion Bank branch at 1420 S. 300 West just before 1 p.m. Wednesday. He approached a teller, demanded and received cash, and then fled on foot.

Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a green hooded jacket, a dark baseball cap and jeans.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 801-799-3000.
