Portland, Ore. • Michael Harthun scored 19 points, Renado Parker added 16 points and eight rebounds, and Portland State snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 90-69 blowout of Southern Utah on Thursday night.

Jackson Stevenett led the Thunderbirds (10-14, 8-7) with 26 points.

Women's basketball

Utah State 92, Denver 89 (OT) • Devyn Christensen made a 3-pointer with two seconds remaining in overtime, lifting the Aggies over the Pioneers in West Coast Conference play. Utah State's Elise Nelson scored with two seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. Jenna Johnson scored 28 points, Jennifer Schlott scored 27 and Christensen tallied 21 — shooting 4-for-9 from 3-point range for league-leading Utah State (14-10, 11-2), which has won eight straight games.

BYU 65, Santa Clara 42 • Jennifer Hamson tallied 12 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Cougars, who outscored the Broncos 46-28 in the second half in a West Coast Conference victory in Provo. Haley Steed tallied 10 points and 10 rebounds for BYU (17-7, 8-3).

Montana 90, Weber State 43 • In Missoula, Mont., the Big Sky Conference-leading Grizzlies shot nearly 60 percent from the field in the first half, extending the Wildcats (0-23, 0-14) losing streak to 42 games, dating to December 2011.

Southern Utah 83, Portland State 60 • In Cedar City, Hailey Mandelko shot 6-for-9 from 3-point range for a game-high 22 points to lead the Thunderbirds (12-12, 6-8 Big Sky Conference).

Baseball

Dixie State 6, Chinese National Team 4 • In Peoria, Ariz., Garrett Nash hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning to lead the Red Storm over the Chinese National Team at the Seattle Mariners Spring Training Complex. Nash went 2-for-3 for Dixie State (4-1).

Softball

BYU 4, Hawaii 2 • In Las Vegas, Katie Manuma was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Tori Almond allowed five hits while striking out seven in a complete-game victory to lead the Cougars over the Warriors at the Desert Classic. Lacey Millett went 3-for-4 with two runs for the Cougars (3-3).
