Great Salt Lake Bird Festival Student Art Contest

The 15th annual Great Salt Lake Bird Festival is calling for entries for its 2013 Student Art Contest. All Utah students from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to submit an original drawing or painting in color of a Long-billed Dowitcher using personal observation, field guides, or Internet resources to research their artwork. An instructional packet with pictures is available at http://www.GreatSaltLakeBirdFest.com. Entries must be hand delivered or postmarked by May 3, 2013.

Plane Talk — Stuart Boyd

The Hill Aerospace Museum will sponsor Plane Talk, an opportunity for people to share and exhibit memories of their time and aircraft experiences during their time in the military or as a civilian. Team looks to postseason play

Nicole Yazzie, a native of West Valley City, was a part of Bingham High's 2007 state championship team.

Cydney Tibbitts spent her first two years in college playing at the University of Utah. She transferred to Westminster for the nursing program.
