As expected, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources fisheries biologists in Salt Lake have confirmed the new Utah record tiger trout caught over President's Day weekend at Scofield Reservoir. The 18-pound 4-ounce mix between and a brown and brook trout broke the old record by more than 3 pounds. As for me, I'm planning a fishing trip for Feb. 16, 2014. The last two state record tiger trout have been caught on Feb. 16.
