Down by seven points with 68 seconds to play, Weber State rallied to steal an 80-78 overtime win at Northern Arizona on Saturday afternoon in Flagstaff, Ariz.
Scott Bamforth and Jordan Richardson each knocked down quick 3-pointers to start overtime, and the Wildcats never trailed again. Weber State (22-5, 16-2 Big Sky), which won its ninth consecutive game, connected on 3 of 5 3-point attempts in overtime to keep its title hopes alive.
"But our players never quit believing they could win and we were able to find a way to get it done," WSU coach Randy Rahe said. "We had a lot of guys step up and contribute, which is what you have to have to win on the road."
