NAI West, the Salt Lake City commercial real estate firm, has ended its affiliation with NAI Global and is operating as an affiliate of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Newmark Grubb ACRES is the new name for NAI West, according to the company.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) is a New York-based commercial real estate advisory company with offices on five continents. It is part of BGC Partners, a publicly traded brokerage company serving the wholesale financial and real estate markets.

Newmark Grubb ACRES was established in Salt Lake City in 1998. The company is run by founding partner Michael Falk.

"The choice [to affiliate with] NGKF was driven by our research that no other firm could meet our clients' needs as effectively. We look forward to partnering with the top-tier professionals at NGKF for our clients' benefit," Falk said in a statement.
