A woman was injured, possibly critically, while making a left-hand turn onto Redwood Road in West Jordan on Friday.

Shortly before noon, the woman was turning north onto Redwood Road (1700 West) from 7600 South when a southbound vehicle crashed into her, said West Jordan police Sgt. Dan Roberts. Details of the crash remained scarce Friday afternoon, but the woman was flown to Intermountain Medical Center with possibly critical injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle was taken by ambulance to another hospital, Roberts said.

The crash shut down Redwood Road in both directions, from 7500 South to 7800 South, until about 2:30 p.m. West Jordan police are still investigating.
