Blaze quarterback Tommy Grady threw for seven touchdowns and rushed for another en route to Utah's 57-40 victory over the host Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday in arena football action.

The win came after three straight losses for the Blaze, who are now 2-3. Both of their wins have come on the road.

The Blaze held Cleveland (1-4) scoreless while they racked up 22 points in the third quarter, building on their 27-21 halftime lead.

Maurice Leggett led Utah's defense with an interception, seven tackles and five pass breakups. Aaron Lesue rushed for 156 yards on 14 carries, ending with four touchdowns.

Utah's offense showed the improved efficiency that it had been hoping for after its poor start: The Blaze were 6 of 9 on third-down conversions and had only one fumble. Grady was 30 for 42 overall.

Cleveland outscored Utah 19-8 in the fourth quarter, but the Gladiators couldn't fully erase the deficit.
