For the fourth time this season, Weber State distance runner Amber Henry has been named the Big Sky Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Henry, a senior from Mountain View, Wyo., posted a career best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Sunday night at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., hosted by Stanford University. She finished with a time of 9:51.55 to place as the second collegiate finisher in the event — the third best in the nation this year. It also ranks as the second best in Weber State history and the third best in Big Sky history.

Henry currently ranks in the top 20 in the nation in two events. She is 16th in the country in the 1500 meters. She has now been named Big Sky Athlete of the Week 15 times in her career in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field.
