The Civil Wars back, to release sophomore album

The Civil Wars' much-anticipated sophomore self-titled album will be released in late summer, it has just been announced.

This is the follow up to the three-time Grammy Award-winning duo's acclaimed debut, "Barton Hollow," which is now certified RIAA Gold in the U.S., as well as a tour in the U.K. that was canceled mid-tour with rumors of a band break-up.Personal statements from band-members Joy Williams and John Paul White can be read at www.thecivilwars.com.
