Along with thousands of other central Texas residents, I am appalled and deeply offended at Pat Bagley's insensitive April 22 cartoon depicting the fire and explosion in the Texas town of West that caused the deaths of 15 firefighters and first responders. I am sick at Bagley's mockery of this horrendous accident!

This explosion also caused numerous serious injuries; many of those injured are still hospitalized. It also decimated West, destroying many homes and numerous businesses.

What a mean, heartless, cruel and hurtful "cartoon."
