It is good to see that The Trib is informing us (at last) about Dr. Hermit Gosnell, who was just convicted (and sentenced) for murdering three newborn babies along with a host of other crimes against women and newborn and unborn babies ("Convicted Philadelphia abortion doctor gets life in prison," Tribune, May 15).
One of the issues that seems to evade those who favor abortion is the dilemma about the difference between killing a baby who is not yet born and one who is just born.
On the legal side, states have laws which prescribe the differences. I get that. And I will continue to work to change these laws to better protect unborn babies and to support the women who have made this unwise choice.
