Motorists may want to avoid the 9000 South and Interstate 15 interchange today.

The Utah Department of Transportation has closed down both the 9000 South eastbound to southbound entrance ramp and the westbound left turn lane to go southbound for road maintenance work.

UDOT asks drivers instead use 10600 South as an alternate route until after 5 p.m. today.
