East High running back Ula Tolutau has committed to Wisconsin.

The junior picked up an offer from Gary Andersen late last week and needed only a few short days to make his decision to commit.

"I know that's a winning program," Tolutau said Thursday.

The running back said he got to know Andersen when the coach and his staff tried to recruit him to Utah State and felt comfortable with them.

Tolutau becomes one of the first Utah prospects to commit to Wisconsin since Andersen took over the reins, but he doubts he will be the last.

"I committed, and I think some boys will feel more comfortable now," he said.

Wisconsin already has offered Jordan sophomore quarterback Austin Kafentzis, who visited Madison for the Badgers' spring game earlier this year.
