Utah's Hogle Zoo is doing its part Saturday to honor Armed Services Day.

All military personnel, veterans, their spouses and children under age 18 will be admitted free to the Salt Lake City zoo between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., said spokeswoman Erica Hansen.

The gesture also applies to the families of fallen soldiers, she added, noting that representatives of the Utah National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve's Survivor Outreach Services program will be on hand throughout the day.
